Dildo est un artiste autodidacte.
Il affectionne la photographie, mais aussi le dessin
qu’il exprime à travers ses aquarelles, mais aussi dans l’illustration de textes et de livres.
Il a sa propre sensibilité et revendique ses créations
comme authentiquement personnelles.
Ses influences sont dadaïstes et surréalistes.

En première impression, on note une abstraction non construite, voir « informelle »,
mixte, entre matière, taches et gestuelle.

Ses créations sont structurées dans la « non structure » et inversement.

Sont investissement est purement intellectuel, avec un travail intérieur axé
sur l’introspectif. Il en résulte un paysage intérieur,
des émotions et des sensations équilibrées empreintes de sérénité.

Il communique de manière construite autour de diverses spiritualités.

Depuis l’enfance, Dildo est attiré par toutes formes de créations,
reste admiratif devant tout ce qui est créé. Cela se traduit par une
forte attirance vers un objectif qu’il ne comprendra que  vers l’âge de quarante ans.

A l’école, seuls les cours de dessins, travaux manuels, lui procurent de l’attention et du plaisir.
C’est dans ces moments qu’il se sent vraiment à sa place. Au lycée, cette envie
de créer va demeurer plus que jamais essentielle,
mais sans jamais trouver une place prépondérante pour l’exprimer.

L’échec au baccalauréat va l’éloigner de cet objectif, et être remplacé
par l’obligation de trouver une place dans la société. Il va y parvenir
et trouver un travail stable. Après une adaptation à cette nouvelle vie
et la stabilité acquise, et surtout une épouse qui va lui offrir du matériel
pour peindre, vont lui permettent de renouer avec cette envie de créer qui avait disparue.

Après un passage à Limoges, il s’installe à Rochefort sur mer où il va
s’inscrire au cours d’Hélène Cloitre-Jacquet, artiste peintre du lieu.
Il va y découvrir, outre les aspects de la technique du dessin, l’esprit
d’une artiste qui va lui donner cette envie et surtout l’éclairer vers la
compréhension de son objectif. Maintenant sur Poitiers, il décide de
se lancer vraiment dans l’aquarelle et la photographie.

Il expose pour la première fois ses travaux dans divers marchés de noël,
où il découvre une autre facette de la création, le public. Il en tire une
grande satisfaction, qui va le pousser à poursuivre. Une exposition photographique
de nus à Poitiers va l’assoire dans sa détermination. Il a aussi exposé par deux fois
à Vivonne chez l’écrivain public. En dehors de son travail alimentaire, sa vie
devient un ballottage entre créations et démarches pour exposer.

Ses travaux, vont interpeller quelques personnes qui vont lui demander
des créations sur commandes. Depuis peu, il illustre des poèmes dans
la revue fleurs sauvages, un collectif de poètes montmorillonnais. Puis
la rencontre avec Lu Si Lin, une écrivaine, va aboutir à l’élaboration
d’un roman illustré. Un travail nouveau qui va le faire évoluer dans sa
technique et surtout dans la confection de travaux à long terme.

Dildo, par le biais de la création, va trouver dans l’informatique un vrai
moyen d’expression, notamment dans la confection de sites internet.
Il va étudier cet aspect de la création puis mettre en ligne un premier
site consacré à l’érotisme dans l’art, un gros travail de recherche dédié
à l’inspiration des plus grands. Mais dans une période sombre il va
détruire en un instant le fruit de son travail. Revenu à lui, il se relance
et crée deux nouveaux sites consacrés aux dinosaures puis un autre
sur la race de son chien. Il a même essayé un site pornographique
à des fin commerciales, mais sans succès. Puis l’idée lui vient de créer
un site entièrement dédié à lui-même. On peut le trouver en parcourant
les pages des moteurs de recherches.

La principale difficulté rencontrée actuellement se lit dans les lignes d’une pendule : le temps.

Dildo is a self-taught artist.
